Privacy

A resume is personal. Here is plainly what happens to yours.

What we collect

• Your resume text, which you paste in.
• Your email address, which you enter only if you buy, so we can send you the private link to your package.
• Order details, such as the time of purchase and the amount. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.

What happens to your resume

• The free preview is not stored by us. Your text is sent to our AI provider to write the preview, and nothing is saved on our side.
• If you start checkout, we hold your resume text and email so we can write your package after you pay. If the order isn't completed, it expires after 2 hours and our database deletes it automatically. Automatic deletion can run up to about two days behind the expiry, but the order can't be used once it expires.
• When you buy, we delete your resume text as soon as your package is written. The finished package stays at a private link for 30 days. After that the link stops working and the package is deleted.

Who else handles it

• Anthropic processes your resume text to write the preview and package. Their handling of API data is covered by their own terms and privacy policy.
• Amazon Web Services hosts the site, the database and the email delivery.
• Stripe takes payment.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a visitor is a person before the free preview runs. It may use technical details such as your IP address and browser.

We don't sell your information, show ads, or use your resume to train anything.

Your private link

Your package lives at a link that only you receive. Anyone who has the link can see the package, so don't share it. We don't list or index these pages.

Please don't paste sensitive government information

Your resume should describe your work in general terms. Don't include classified, controlled or otherwise protected information, Social Security numbers, or anything you aren't permitted to share.

Questions or deletion requests

Email hello@fedtoprivate.com. If you'd like your package deleted before 30 days, send us the link and we'll remove it.
