Short and plain. By using Fed → Private you agree to these terms.
What this is
Fed → Private rewrites a federal resume into a private-sector resume. Software drafts the rewrite, using rules built around federal careers. It is an independent service and is not affiliated with any U.S. government agency.
What we don't promise
- No job or interview. Nothing here promises any hiring outcome.
- Drafts, not final copy. The results can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reading every line, correcting it, and filling in the bracketed gaps before you send your resume to anyone.
- Titles are suggestions. The job titles we suggest are a starting point based on what your resume shows. Use only titles you can honestly stand behind.
- The pay ranges are rough. They are general anchors, not offers or guarantees.
What you agree to
- You'll paste only information you have the right to share, about yourself. Please don't include classified or controlled information, or other people's private details.
- You'll keep your private result link to yourself. Anyone with the link can view the package.
- You won't misuse the service, such as automating requests, trying to get around the bot check, or reselling the output of promo codes.
Orders and payment
- The price is shown at checkout and charged once. There is no subscription. Payment is handled by Stripe.
- Promo codes are single-use, have no cash value, and can't be combined or exchanged.
- Your package is generated when you order. If something goes wrong on our end, such as the package never arriving or being unusable, email hello@fedtoprivate.com and we'll make it right.
Your content and ours
Your resume and the rewritten version are yours to use however you like. We use your resume only to write your results, as described in our privacy page.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, and it may be unavailable from time to time. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed opportunity, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
